2/2/2014 – recordings for Step 4 will not be listed on the blog. We began Step 4. We shared our interpretation of the words of the step, the flow chart and the difference between Steps 4, 10 and 11.

2/9/2014 -16# Back to Basics We began the AA Back to Basics and completed Steps 1 and 2. Next week, we will do Step 3 and Steps 4 and 5. The homework is to read through the B2B hands outs.
2/16/2014 – 17# Back to Basics We continued the AA Back to Basics and completed Step 3 and began Step 4. The homework is write a list of your top resentments, fears and harms.
2-17-2014 – 18# Back to Basics Extra meeting to complete Steps 4 & 5 using this format.
2-23/2014 19# Back to Basics We continued the AA Back to Basics and completed Steps 6-10. We also introduced the practice of written meditation and quiet time. The homework is to read the handouts on HOW TO LISTEN TO GOD, How to Begin Practicing Quiet Time. Here are 2 other documents: How-God-speaks-to-us-in-prayer, A. A.’s Pioneer Program & the Practice of Quiet Time.

3/10/2014: link We completed the first session of our 12 Step Back to Basics Workshop via the telephone.

3/23/2014 link We completed Step 12 of the B2B. We read and shared on Step 4. We discussed the assets and liabilities formula as applied to a business inventory versus a moral inventory. We read and discussed the AA 12&12 and shared on selfishness and self-seeking as the root of our problems as opposed to misdirected instincts.
3/24/2014. For the AA Back to Basics we completed steps 6, 7, 8 and 9 and experienced 2 way prayer and sharing guidance.
3/30/2014 link Step 4 in the AA 12&12. We discussed and clarified the third column from the 4th step resentment inventory that we used in the BBA.
4/6/2014 link We read and shared on the handouts on steps 4 and 5 and discussed the merits of the 2 different step 4 inventory formats: the assets and liabilities and the 5 column inventory. The links are below. Here is the format that I have created that is also adaptable to both inventories.

8/17/2014 Step 7. This week, the group read and shared on Step 7 from the AA 12 & 12 and we discussed: Should there be abstinence requirements to take someone through the steps? And some highlights from the book Living Sober.
8/24/2014 Step 7. This week, the group read and shared on Step 7. We shared on the Step 6 and 7 exercises that were posted on August 14, 2014. We discussed the differences and similarities between the Third and Seventh Step Prayers; getting rid of our character defects; our experiences this week when we were able to apply the principles of the program; and the hand out on Step 7 from Head to Heart.
8/31/2014 Tradition 6. This week, we completed Step 7 and Tradition 6. We read and shared on the handouts and summarized the end of Step 7 in the AA 12 & 12.
9/7/2014 FEEL & Tradition 7. This week, we read and shared on the blog posting F.E.E.L and read the Tradition 7 in the AA 12 & 12.
9/14/2014 Tradition 7. This week, we completed Tradition 7. We discussed the spirituality of money and how it connects to recovery and the 7th Step.
We began Steps 8 and 9 and read The Table Mate and began reading The Little Red Book.
9/21/2014: No recording available. This week, we read and discussed the blog postings on Step 8 and 9. We are up to page 77 in the Little Red Book and page 142/76-77 in The Big workbook/AA Big Book.
9/28/2014 Steps 8 & 9. This week, we continued reading and sharing on Step 8 and 9. We read through the Step 8 and Step 9 worksheets for Emotional Sobriety and Food and discussed forgiveness, making amends and acceptance.
10/5/2014 Step 8 & 9. We read through the worksheet and read and shared on the Little Red Book 80:1. We are continuing our discussion on forgiveness, making amends and acceptance.
