This week, our meeting was unable to be recorded.

We read and discussed More About Alcoholism in the AA Big Book 38:1.

Here are a few points that we discussed during the meeting:

We have to work the program every day. Because we have “a strange mental twist” that tells me that we really don’t have this disease.

We discussed “what can I do to help someone to become abstinent?” As a group, we discussed that “what you put into the program you get out” and that no one can make another person get abstinent, just as no one makes us pick up.

For next week, we agreed to continuing reading from More About Alcoholism in the AA Big Book and complete the chapter before moving onto the story The Keys Of The Kingdom.

 I would also like us to read from step 2 in the OA 12 & 12.
