Step 1 Considerations: Back to Basics Extra Information

The Back To Basics: Step 1 Questions for Reflection:

The Back to Basics Beginners’ Meeting does not require any homework.

Step 1 discusses the allergy of the body and the obsession of the mind.

Devorah from NJ recommended that during the week, group members discuss any questions that they might have with their sponsors.

We will try to email this week contact information of people in the group who have already completed a Back To Basics.

Devorah also suggested that group members read Bill’s Story and the Dr.’s Opinion if anyone is confused about any the information that was presented during the session.

Thank you Devorah for your excellent suggestions!

With the above in mind, I thought that the following documents might be helpful.

The following is a highlighted document of the key sections from the AA BB:

The Back To Basics is based on the AA BB and The Table Mate.  The notes from the Beginners’ Meetings in the 1940’s also later became The Little Red Book.

Below is a copy of the Table Mate and The Instructor’s Outline for Step 1 which later became the Little Red Book:

As always, take what you want and leave the rest behind.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week!

With blessings for recovery and peace,

Shira
