This week we began Step 12. We read and discussed the first part of the Step 12 Written Inventory for our group, The Little Red Book and the meaning of the words of the steps.

In particular, we discussed the meaning of a spiritual awakening and spiritual experience. The questions were posted earlier on the blog today.

Our discussions will focus on the 3 parts of this final step: spiritual awakening, carrying the message and practicing these principles in all our affairs.

We will be reading from The Little Red Book, the AA Big Book, the 12 and 12 of AA and OA, as well as other program literature.

The last 3 steps are the heart and soul of emotional sobriety: living in the solution, seeking conscious contact with the God of our understanding and carrying the message to those who still suffer.
