This week we continued our work on Step 12, in our new format on “The Principles and Promises of Step 12 in the AA Big Book.”

We read and discussed the chapter “The Family Afterward” up to 125:2.

We also read the first section on Step 12 from the Unpopular Studies in the Last Three Steps up to page 80:1.

The homework is to read and highlight the sections in the AA Big Book Chapter “The Family Afterward” and write on what you highlight.

The goal is to have our own personal experience of what the AA Big Book means to us.

Every time before you begin doing any part of the reading or writing, remember to say the “Set Aside Prayer” and bring your spiritual awareness of God, as you understand Him, into this process.

We recover for the sole purpose of carrying the message to those who still suffer and to be of maximum service to God and others.

Thank you all for sharing your experience, strength and hope.

Together we can do what we can never do alone.
