This week we continued our work on Step 12, in our new format on “The Principles and Promises of Step 12 in the AA Big Book.”

We read and discussed the chapter “The Family Afterward” up to 127:2.

We also read the first section on Step 12 from the Unpopular Studies in the Last Three Steps. We will begin the next chapter next week “Step 12: A primer on compassion.”

The homework is to read and highlight the sections in the AA Big Book Chapter “The Family Afterward” and write on what you highlight.

I copied the questions from the site BBstudygroup.com as a word document in columns. I printed it up and then added the questions directly into my AA Big Book.

I find that it helps me focus my reading of the text.
