Hi Everyone!
This is something that I found on Pinterest, that I liked. Below I added how to apply the principles of the program and personalize it.
How to apply program principles:
First things first — what is the next right thing that I need to do right now?
Who is in charge? Either God is everything or God is nothing, what is my choice to be?
Can I let God run His world?
What in this difficult situation can I change?
What in this difficult situation can I not change?
If nothing changes, can I accept the situation as it is?
What did this challenge teach me to appreciate?
Is there someone that I need to forgive?
Would I rather be right, or would I rather be loving?
Have I ever done to that person or to someone else what they did to me?
What did I do for others today?
What did I do for myself today?
Was I thinking about what I could give, or was I placing my needs above others?
Be here, right now: where am I? Who am I? What am I? How am I?
What would God have me do? How would God have me be?
I would also add that challenges do not change who we are, they reveal who we are.
As I reflected on this, I see that it encapsulates many program principles and how to be emotionally sane sober and serene.
It is almost like doing a mini inventory!
As with everything, take what you want and leave the rest behind. See you all on Sunday!
With blessings for recovery and peace,
Shira
