This week, we continued our discussion on abstinence and surrender.

We read The Process of Abstinence is Surrender from the foodaddictioninstitute.org website. Please go to their website directly, in order to access the information.

I highly recommend the site. It is a full of helpful information on food addiction.  They also have a and very helpful explanation of our disease and how to recover. Here is a current link to the article, but, frequently, links are broken or become inactive. (updated 11/8/2020)

We completed the Abstinence Presentation Handout from OA World Service. Please go to the OA World Service directly to access the link, if it is still available.

We discussed H.A.L.T., the importance of meetings and why abstinence is important.

We also read the handout on Surrender from NA.

I think that we are nearing the end of this topic.
