Summary Of Our Meeting Today

muhammed-aliHi Everyone!

Thank you for your participation and sharing during our meeting this week.

Playback recording number is: (712) 775-7029 Access Code: 397-681-282#

Since we do not have a lot of storage available on the telephone conference line, recordings through the phone line will only be available for 1 week.

To listen to a meeting that is older than 1 week, please go to the Recordings 2017 tab of the blog to get access to the link to the media fire account.

As a reminder, our group takes place on Sunday mornings at 5:30 AM EST.

Please join us as we “trudge the Road of Happy Destiny.” (AA Big Book 164:3)

This week, we shared on the homework:

What is the difference between religion and spirituality?

How can this knowledge help my recovery and program?

After that, we read and discussed Step 3 in the OA 12 & 12 and took Steps 1 -3 as a group.

Our homework for next week is to write our own person Steps 1-3 prayer, or just a personal Step 3 prayer.

Attached are worksheets on writing a personalized Step 3 prayer.

Here are some additional Step 3 worksheets from my favorite site,

Next week, I would like us to read and discuss the worksheet above on Step 3.  In addition, the serenity prayer is also a part of Step 3. If there is interest, I would love to do the exercises on this vital program prayer.  Here is the worksheet that I developed for our group:

The Serenity Prayer 10-18-13

After that, I would like us to read and discuss the next story in the AA Big Book, Fear of Fear.

I am so grateful to be sharing this journey with all of you!

Thank you all for sharing your experience, strength and hope.

“Together we can do what we can never do alone.”

In love and service,
