This week we reviewed unselfishness and discussed the rest of the postings on this topic.

We discussed how selfishness and self-centeredness is our core character defect which blocks us off from God and others.

We also briefly read from the story The Professor And The Paradox, which is from the AA Big Book, first edition. There are beautiful program nuggets in this story, so I am looking forward to reading this together as a group.

Next week, we will continuing reading and discussing the rest of this story and begin to  read about Absolute Love.

Although we haven’t started reading it as a group, the homework on Absolute Love is:

“What does it look like in your life when you are absolutely Loving? Write out a vision for yourself….”.

The plan for our group is to divide our time between doing the steps and reading from the stories in the AA Big Book.
