Today, we had a fascinating meeting! We read and discussed the hand out on Surrender and the Therapeutic Process by Henry Tiebout.

I am going to try and post the notes from our meeting separately.

In addition, I think that the topic of surrender, submission, defiance, grandiosity, denial and acceptance needs to be explored more deeply.

Aidel asked a brillant question: What are the steps that we need to take to surrender?

After our meeting this morning, I went on line and found some different articles. Aidel suggested the 30 day questions for Steps 1, 2 and 3. In addition, I found other articles on- line which might be helpful to read as a group.

Here are extra articles that I found that others might find interesting. I am going to read them more closely myself! They are as word documents, not PDF’s since I have not fully examined them yet. As with everything, take what you want and leave the rest behind.

My goal is to speak to everyone during the week and try to organize some of this information. Please contact me during the week if you are interested in sharing and writing on this topic before moving onto the story in the AA Big Book, The Missing Link.

I am so grateful to be sharing this journey with all of you!

Thank you all for sharing your experience, strength and hope.

“Together we can do what we can never do alone.”

In love and service,
