This week, we continued our discussion on surrender that we began last week. We read and discussed various documents that I found on-line.
Read about the definition of surrender and self-will.
We read page 163: – 167 in the book A New Pair of Glasses by Chuck C. I highly recommend this book and it was such a pleasure to read!
We also read what Barbara wrote about surrendering.
Notes that I took during our meeting:
Give up your need to never give up, and you will find out that it takes far more strength to surrender than it does to continue fighting.
The greatest question was asked by Devorah:
“Where is the line between effort and acceptance?”
Or, “Where is the line between taking action and letting go of the outcome?”
Such an important topic!
Tomorrow, we will read and discuss about surrendering to a food plan and the tool of abstinence in OA.
